Dr. Manik Saha officially launched 'Tripureswari Premium Tea'

Hon'ble Chief Minister of the state Dr. Manik Saha officially launched 'Tripureswari Premium Tea' through a press conference in Mahakaran today. Dr. Saha said, the state government is fully supporting the development of tea industry in the state. The government has taken initiatives to solve the land problem for tea plantations. Efforts have been made to promote the tea industry by creating a favorable environment. Apart from this, the government has taken initiatives to set up an auction center for tea in the state and to export tea leaves to neighboring Bangladesh. The government has taken various schemes including creating employment based on the tea industry, supporting small tea farmers. In this regard Tripura Tea Development Corporation has continued its relentless efforts.
