Union Minister joined celebration of Khowai Municipal Council’s 39th foundation day

Union Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar held a review meeting with the officials of Khowai district administration Tripura on Thursday at Khowai Dakbangla. He also joined celebration of Khowai Municipal Council’s 39th foundation day and beneficiary sammelan at Khowai New Town Hall. Secretary of Tripura Sports Council Amit Rakshit, Khowai District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty, Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zila Parishad Jaydev Debbarma, Member of Khowai Zila Parishad Subrata Majumder, KMC Chairperson Debasish Nath Sarma and many others were present in the programme. Later, the Union minister of state handed over the keys of the e-rickshaws to four persons of Khowai Municipal Council area. Cheques of Rs.1 lakh was issued to three SHG groups each. Moreover, Khowai Municipal Council felicitated 10 safai workers of the area. The Union Minister first came to Khowai and met the party officials in an organizational meeting at the Government Revenue Dakbangla in Khowai.
