Baptu Chakraborty returns, 2500 voter join Congress

Altogether 2517 voters from Barjala, Banamalipur, Pratapgarh, Bamutia and Khayerpur areas today formally joined Congress by accepting party flags in a programme organized in front of the Congress Bhawan. Most important of all, once-promising Congress leader Baptu Chakraborty who had joined Trinamool last year out of confusion returned to the party fold with a large number of voters from the Khayerpur assembly constituency .
